Job Description Summary
As an Equipment Specialist for Downstream operations, you will play a vital role in producing life-saving pharmaceutical products. You will execute assigned manufacturing activities according to the production schedule, ensuring strict compliance with GMP regulations, safety guidelines, and operating procedures. Key Responsibilities: Execute with Precision & Care
You will be hands-on with critical downstream bioprocessing equipment, ensuring smooth, compliant, and efficient production.
- GMP Execution: Perform all assigned manufacturing activities (equipment preparation, sterilization, in-process controls) in strict compliance with GMP, safety, and environmental instructions.
- Equipment & Facility Stewardship: Properly clean, prepare, and sterilize production equipment and rooms. Maintain excellent housekeeping (5S) in the production area.
- Operational Support: Manage consumables supply, perform daily equipment/room checks, and execute complex equipment setups and changeovers.
- Problem-Solving & Training: Provide first-level support for equipment issues and participate in on-the-job training for equipment operators.
- Documentation: Conduct timely batch record review and adhere to Good Documentation Practice (GDP).

You are detail-oriented, technically inclined, and thrive in a structured, process-driven environment.
Essential Requirements:
- Minimum Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Bioprocess) or Sciences (Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Chemistry).
- Proficient in English (both written and verbal for documentation and communication).
- No prior experience is required – comprehensive training will be provided. Relevant experience is an added advantage.
- High level of conscientiousness, care, and attention to detail for documentation, order, and cleanliness.
- Ability to develop technical and process understanding for effective troubleshooting.
- Must be willing and able to work in rotating shifts.
Desirable Requirements & Skills:
- Team player with a constructive, flexible, and solution-oriented attitude.
- Understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles.
