We are seeking a dynamic and operational Retail Inventory & eCommerce Fulfillment Team Lead to ensure the seamless flow of products from our warehouses to our retail stores and direct to our customers' doors. In this pivotal leadership role, you will be the engine of our ANZ retail operations, managing two critical teams, driving safety and efficiency, and directly impacting customer satisfaction. Your Mission: Drive Operational Excellence in Inventory & Fulfillment
You will be responsible for the day-to-day leadership of the Inventory and Fulfillment teams, ensuring safety, meeting SLAs, and continuously improving the workflows that power our retail and eCommerce channels.
Key Responsibilities
1. Champion Safety & Compliance
- Foster a proactive safety-first culture, ensuring strict adherence to all Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) procedures.
- Conduct regular warehouse safety checks, risk assessments, and hazard identification.
- Oversee incident management, from reporting and investigation to implementing preventive actions.
- Ensure compliance with PPE, forklift operations, manual handling, and warehouse organization standards.
2. Lead, Develop & Inspire Teams
- Provide daily leadership to the Retail Inventory and eCommerce Fulfillment teams, aligning efforts with business priorities.
- Drive team performance, productivity, and a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
- Manage talent across sites and time zones, fostering collaboration and resolving challenges effectively.
- Implement cross-training programs to build team capability and operational resilience.
3. Optimize Inventory & Fulfillment Operations
- Manage end-to-end stock levels, cycle counts, and reconciliation for retail stores and eCommerce.
- Monitor and report on key distribution performance metrics (KPIs & SLAs) to ensure targets are met.
- Oversee daily stock allocation and order distribution to maximize efficiency and service quality.
- Balance operational needs with revenue and customer experience considerations.
4. Enhance Processes & Systems
- Identify and drive continuous improvement initiatives to streamline workflows and increase efficiency.
- Support the integration and troubleshooting of key systems like Shopify, MYOB, and Oracle.
- Proactively manage system issues, escalating root causes to ensure seamless operational uptime.
5. Engage Stakeholders Strategically
- Act as the primary operational liaison between Retail, DTC, and Distribution teams.
- Provide clear, timely communication on inventory status, fulfillment performance, and operational updates.
- Collaborate with partners to resolve queries and align on priorities to support business objectives.

Your Required Qualifications:
- Proven experience (2+ years) in a team lead or supervisory role within supply chain, distribution, or fulfillment operations.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to manage and develop diverse teams.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a commercial understanding of inventory's impact on revenue and customer experience.
- Outstanding stakeholder communication, reporting, and project coordination abilities.
- Experience in creating, implementing, and optimizing team workflows and processes.
- Agile and adaptable, skilled at prioritizing competing demands in a fast-paced setting.
- Proven success in driving cultural and process change within an operational team.
