Lead the Warehouse Team Delivering Healthier Sleep Across ANZ
The primary role of the Supply Chain function is to ensure the accurate, efficient distribution of products that change lives. As a key player in ResMed's B2B ANZ Distribution operations, you will oversee the warehouse activities that get our life-changing sleep and respiratory therapy products to healthcare providers and patients.
Role Overview
The Warehouse Team Leader plays a pivotal role in supporting ResMed's operations by leading the team responsible for receiving, storing, picking, packing, and dispatching products. Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, you will partner with cross-functional teams to ensure operational excellence, safety, and superior service levels. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone passionate about developing people, driving safety, and optimizing warehouse processes.
Key Responsibilities: Lead with Safety, Accuracy & Efficiency
You will be responsible for the daily performance of the warehouse team, ensuring all activities are conducted safely, accurately, and efficiently.
1. Safety & Compliance Leadership
- Champion a safety-first culture, ensuring strict adherence to all Health, Safety & Environment procedures.
- Conduct safety checks, risk assessments, and oversee incident reporting and investigation.
- Ensure compliance with PPE, forklift operations, and manual handling guidelines.
2. Team Leadership & Development
- Lead, motivate, coach, and develop the warehouse team on a daily basis.
- Coordinate tasks including receiving, picking, packing, dispatch, and inventory management.
- Foster a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous improvement.
3. Warehouse Operations & Inventory Control
- Manage end-to-end inbound and outbound processes to ensure timely fulfilment.
- Maintain strong inventory accuracy through counts, reconciliations, and audits.
- Oversee secure handling and storage of all inventory with full traceability.
- Uphold all ResMed Quality and operational procedures.
4. Stakeholder Engagement & Process Improvement
- Act as the key contact between warehouse ops, Provider teams, Quality, and Supply Chain.
- Lead and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and safety.
- Utilize warehouse management systems (Oracle WMS experience preferred) and identify bottlenecks.
Qualifications & Experience
Required:
- 2+ years in a leadership/supervisory role within a warehouse or distribution environment.
- Strong hands-on knowledge of warehouse operations (receiving, put-away, picking, packing, dispatch).
- Excellent planning, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills; collaborative and adaptable.
- High attention to detail with a commitment to safety and process compliance.
Preferred:
- Experience using Oracle or similar Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
- Demonstrated success in implementing process or operational improvements.
- Understanding of the link between inventory accuracy and business outcomes.
- Current forklift licence.
